Worlds largest pink diamond auctioned

A beautifull diamond called Princie Diamond is sold at a auction for 39,3 million dollar in New York.
The diamond was 34,65 carat, the item was auctioned at Christie's and it was one the most expensive diamond ever to be auctioned. The buyer and seller wish to remain anonymous.

Princie Diamond is discovered around 300 years ago in the mines of Golconda in India.
Nizam of Hyderabad was a Indian prince who was the first owner of the diamond. He auctioned
the diamond in 1960 at Cleef & Arpels auction house in London.
The diamond got his name by prince of Baroda who went to a party whit his mom at age 14 whit the diamond.

Een mooie roze diamand genaamd Princie Diamond, wat verkocht is voor 39,3 miljoen dollar op een van de veilingen in New York City.

De diamand met een karaat van 34,65 die bij Christie’s is geveild was de een na duurste diamand die ooit geveild is.

De koper en verkoper zijn helaas anoniem gebleven op de veilingen.

De diamand Princie Diamond is ongeveer 300 jaar geleden ontdekt in de Golconda mijnen in India. Nizam of Hyderabad een Indiaanse prins was de eerste eigenaar van de diamand.
Die heeft die verkocht in 1960 op een veilingen in London op de veiling van jewelier Cleef & Arpels De diamand Princie heet zo ter ere van een 14 jarige prince van Baroda wie naar het feest in parijs ging met ze moeder Maharani Sita Devi.

Gefossilleerd ei op de naar de veilingen

Een enorme gefossiliseerde ei  gelegd door een uitgestorven oliphant vogel is voor 2 keer zijn eigenwaarde verkocht op een veilingen in London.

Christie’s veiling huis zei dat het voet lange en bijna 9 inches breed ei 101,813 dollar heeft opgeleverd. Het ei was getaxeerd tussen de 40 duizend en 50 duizend dollar. Het is verkocht aan een anonieme koper over de telefoon na ongeveer 10 min.
 
De oliphant vogel zijn een paar honderd jaar geleden uitgestorven ongeveer in de 17^de eeuw
het is ei is gevonden op Madagaskar. Een van de mooiste veilingen tot nu toe

Een oliphant vogel leek op een  struisvogel en kon 3,4 meter hoog worden. Christie zegt dat hun eieren 100 keer zo groot zijn als een gemiddelde kuiken

Sega Pluto was up for auction

Whit all the game consoles this is very a unique and rare console and I’m talking about the Sega Pluto. There was an auction on Ebay about the Sega Pluto a month ago.
The bids went skyrocket at the auction and the first offer was 6000 euro, But that wasn’t enough.
De man who put it on the auction site thought 6000 euro is not enough and the console got a another bid at the auction and this time it was 12.000 but still that wasn’t enough for him.
And further there were no more bids so again an auction without a new owner.

The ‘’SEGA Pluto’’ was an prototype off the SEGA Saturn whit online features, at the moment there are only 2 Sega Pluto’s in the whole world so it’s quite rare in the auction world.

Kobe Bryant is going through a lawsuit

Basketball player Kobe Bryant is going through a lawsuit because his mom wants to auction all of his stuff from college. A auction house in New Jersey dragged him to court because he has sended them a letter saying that his mom cannot auction off all of his college souvenirs.

Bryant says that his mom Pamela no rights has to auction all of his souvenirs, Auction house Goldin Auctions says that he told her years ago that he didn’t want it anymore. There was a NBA-championship ring from 2000, that he didn’t want it anymore.

Auction house Goldin Auctions paid Pamela Bryant an advance of 450.000 dollar, which she wants to use for her new house. Kobe Bryant is one of the best paid basketball players in the world and this NBA season he has earned 60 million on salary, TV-commercials and sponsors.

Ferran Adria auctioned of his restaurant

Ferran Adrià organized two auctions and has  fetched near 2 million euro for his financing of his culinary research centrum. In New York and Hong Kong his restaurant moved all his stuff what was a former restaurant El Bulli in Roses to the auction.

The former top chef let us know he wanted to fetch a minimal of 1,2 million dollar at the auction.
